Welcome to the web site of the iPath Telemedicine software. On this site we try to aggregate all information on the development and functionality of the iPath software.
iPath is an open source platform for telemedicine applications such as consulations, case disucssions, virtual staff meetings, etc. It was originally developed at University of Basel where a public iPath server for projects with developing countries is hosted.
I am reorganising the whole source code for the iPath project. All code will from now on be hosted in the SVN repository on sourceforge.
At present there are 2 sections in the repository (server and tools). The code for the current development version (2.1.x) has been imported into the repository already (server/trunk)

more information about accessing the SVN repository can be found here: https://sourceforge.net/svn/?group_id=27616
Finally I started to create some information and download links to some of the add-on modules for iPath. You can find them in the "projects" section on this site:
Openmeetings is a free video conferencing and group collaboration application.
I'd like to get iPath integrated with openmeetings so that a doctor can start using openmeetings and make a videoconference call only pushing a button in the bar.
The features to focus in the first release are:
1. Connect to openmeetings in a new window/tab when the button is pressed bypassing the user/password mask;
2. Automatically register new iPath users in openmeetings users database.
Dear Developers
I created a new mailing list on sourceforge for the discussion of development related issues. All posts, questions, etc on the technical use of iPath, installation, new features, etc are welcome here:
you can subscirbe to the list here:
https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/ipath-developers
Finally, the iPath site on sourceforge is reopened again. I will move the user manual and developer information back to this site so that anyone interested in the development of iPath can participate here.
For the time, i have also activate a new mailing list for iPath developers. You can find it here:
